We offer a full drawing board-to-installation service
We all dream of a beautiful home, but undertaking a high quality renovation project can be daunting.
There are so many decisions to make and getting any one of them wrong can be expensive and demoralising.
Drawing on our years of property renovation experience we’ll be with you every step of the way - from the initial drawing board ideas to final installation - to guide you, inspire you and ensure your project is a success.
Phase 1: Drawing board
Every project begins with in-depth discussions to really get to know the clients, how they live, and what they want to achieve from their project. It is essential to have clearly defined goals, and the earlier we understand them the better.
Initial design workshop
As well as building an understanding of what style and feel you want to achieve, we’ll work with you to clarify the objectives, priorities, budget and timings for your project. It is so important for everyone involved to have a clear understanding of these parameters to make the project run as smoothly and enjoyably as possible and inform the decision making process at every point on the journey.
Present design options
We’ll take this information and work up our initial layout and design ideas, incorporating everything you’ve told us, typically presenting 2 or 3 options intended to stimulate and clarify your thinking.
Phase 3: Oversight and installation
We’ll set about procuring the necessary items for your scheme and work with your contractors to make sure things go to plan.
Project oversight
With a deep understanding of construction techniques and practices, we collaborate with your contractors to make sure the project runs smoothly and our designs are implemented correctly, saving time and money and ensuring the best possible finish. Our attention to detail is second to none and that is what pays dividends when the final install and styling comes together.
Installation
The most exciting part of any project, we will be on site to install, style and bring the whole scheme together – placing furniture, hanging art and even fitting the right light bulbs.
Phase 2: Detailed design
At this stage we really get into it, working intensively on detailed designs.
In-depth design workshop
We’ll sit down with you for a detailed design workshop to capture the preferred elements of our initial design ideas, and agree room plans and functions. We’ll work with you to collate and edit ideas from your Pinterest boards and magazine cuttings (there are usually plenty!) and start to pick out materials and furnishings.
Detailed designs
We will give careful consideration to all the discrete elements that come together to make a successful scheme - from functional analysis of the spaces, flows and sightlines, treatment of existing architectural features, electrical fittings, door and window hardware to wall finishes, furnishings, art and lighting, we’ll bring it all together to make a wow room.
Typically there is a significant problem-solving element to this – how to create the most useable and attractive layout in a tight bathroom space, how to mitigate wear-and-tear in high traffic zones, how to create practical storage solutions to keep your home free of clutter once the photographers have gone home and you’re living real life in it.
